Smarter inventory management – directly on the intranet
Together with senseStock, we have developed a proof of concept that shows stock status on the intranet, directly and in real-time. By connecting smart sensors to a digital workplace that adapts to the user, we open the door to new opportunities: better anticipation, increased efficiency and the right person getting the right information.
In many organisations, the physical warehouse lives its own life, parallel to the digital workplace. But what happens when these two worlds meet? Together with senseStock, we tested connecting an automated warehouse monitoring system with the intranet.
The result? Inventory levels updated in real-time and displayed directly on the intranet, tailored to the user's role and needs.
Real-time data + personalisation = smarter everyday life
When warehouse data is connected to the intranet, something really good happens. Information becomes both accessible and relevant. It appears where it is needed and is tailored to the recipient.
For example, you can:
- Display current stock status on the homepage, subpages, in groups or news articles.
- Filter and customise content so that buyers, store managers and operations technicians see exactly what's important to them.
- Get automatic updates or alerts when something in stock reaches a critical level – so that there are no surprises.
And the best part? You don't have to look for information – it finds you.
With our messaging feature, organisations can also take the next step in automating the flow of information. The integration makes it possible to send personalised, role-based messages, completely automatically. Whether the employee is working at a computer or on the go with their mobile, the information is delivered directly to where it is needed.
- Daily, personalised stock reports, compiled with the help of AI

Thanks to the fact that Sitevision is also available as an app, it ensures that everyone gets the right information.
No hassle, just new possibilities
In this proof of concept, we have tested a solution that does not require complex system integration. Connected weighing sensors are installed and connected to a warehouse monitoring platform. The intranet then retrieves the data via API and displays it in a clear and user-friendly way, right where employees work.

When the right person gets the right information at the right time, it's easier to make decisions, avoid mistakes and spend time on what really adds value.
