Sitevision is the market-leading platform for Swedish websites

Sitevision is the market-leading platform for Sweden’s websites. This is evident in the Web Service Awards’ trend survey, “How Are Sweden’s Websites Doing in 2026?” Sitevision also has the most satisfied users among the platforms compared. A full 99 percent of Sitevision’s users say they have a well-functioning CMS, and 76 percent give it the highest possible rating.

Sitevision Takes the Market-Leading Position

Over the past several years, Sitevision has strengthened its position in the Swedish market. In this year’s trend survey from the Web Service Award External link., Sitevision is the most widely used platform among the alternatives compared, following a trend in which the percentage of respondents using Sitevision has gradually increased.

This growing position goes hand in hand with continued strong results among users. None of the Sitevision users surveyed reported that they do not have a well-functioning CMS, and Sitevision has also had the most satisfied users in previous years’ surveys.

– For many years, we have challenged a market dominated by significantly larger international players. The fact that Sitevision is now taking a market-leading position is therefore an important milestone. The fact that 99 percent of our users report having a well-functioning CMS shows that we are succeeding in growing while maintaining strong user satisfaction. This gives us a solid foundation as we continue to develop Sitevision,” says Søren Bak Jepsen, CEO of Sitevision.

From CMS to a Platform for the Entire Digital Experience

CMS and content remain a central part of Sitevision, but the needs surrounding today’s digital experiences extend far beyond publishing. Visitors expect to quickly find the right information and have relevant and accessible digital experiences. At the same time, organizations need to understand how their digital channels are performing and be able to develop them based on actual impact.

Sitevision’s DXP brings together CMS and content with features such as AI, search, personalization, analytics, and integrations into a unified platform for digital experiences. The platform is used to create and develop cohesive experiences for customers, residents, and employees.

This development reflects a broader shift from primarily publishing and managing content to creating and developing digital experiences that meet users’ needs and the organization’s goals.

Websites Face Increasingly High Demands

The fact that needs extend beyond content and publishing is also evident in the Web Service Awards trend survey. AI usage has increased from 11 percent in 2023 to 39 percent in 2026. 97 percent have a search function, but only 51 percent think it works well. At the same time, 89 percent are planning major changes to their website this year, while only 55 percent follow up to see if the changes actually produce the desired effect.

The results point to a shift from simply having the right features in place to creating digital experiences that actually work and deliver results. Helping users find what they’re looking for, taking advantage of new technology, and understanding what creates value are thus becoming an increasingly important part of website development.
