Certified Sitevision Solution Developer
As a developer, you can build your own modules and functionality in Sitevision and learn how Sitevision’s REST API can be extended. The training focuses on our APIs and on our frameworks WebApps (Micro frontends) and RESTApps (Micro services). The course includes a certification assignment.
Certified Sitevision Solution Developer (CSSD) is a certification course for those who want to take a deep dive into how to work with custom code to develop their own functionality and modules for Sitevision.
The main focus is on Sitevision’s APIs and frameworks for developing WebApps, RESTApps, and Widgets.
We cover the entire process—from getting started with simple script-based solutions and the Public API, to extending the REST API and building your own modules and Widgets. We also look at the available distribution options.
All course materials and developer-oriented documentation are in English. The course is delivered as an online course, where you will get access to video lessons and your own course website for hands-on practice. During the video lessons, we work through various coding exercises where you follow along, write your own code, and apply it on your course website.
At the end of the course, you will complete a certification assignment, where you build your own solution that will be reviewed by us. Once approved, you will receive a digital certificate (CSSD) that is valid for two years.
PREREQUISITES:
Participants in the CSSD course should have developer experience and solid knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
Basic knowledge of React is helpful but not required.
Basic knowledge of Sitevision as a platform*
* You need a basic understanding of Sitevision. You should be comfortable navigating the Sitevision interface and familiar with terms such as pages, articles, archives, templates, and metadata, as well as how they relate to each other.
Documentation covering the Sitevision basics from a user perspective is included, and you will receive access to this material after registering for the course.

Once the course has been activated, you will have full access to it for three months. The course also includes an assignment that must be completed within this period. At the moment, access to the course and course materials is handled manually, but we will make sure you receive access as quickly as possible.
