Frequently asked questions about Sitevision AI
We received many questions during the webinar. We think that's great 🎉! Here we have tried to answer them all.
Does Sitevision assist with prompts?
Sitevision does not assist with writing prompts. However, you can exchange tips and experiences with other customers on My Pages in the AI group in Sitevision.
Several of our partners also have AI experts who can help you develop prompts based on your needs.
What is AI based on? ChatGPT?
Sitevision's AI service is our own and does not use American subcontractors such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) or similar.
The service is operated in Sweden using renewable and green energy, and is specially developed to meet our customers' requirements for security, integrity, and compliance.
Because we have full control over the entire solution, from infrastructure to model management, we can ensure that, for example:
- No customer data is used for general model training
- All data is stored in Sweden
- We meet high standards of compliance and data protection
This is an important part of our promise to deliver a powerful yet secure AI experience for our customers.
How can you access AI services? Are they included in Sitevision's basic offering?
The AI features and AI service are included for all customers who have the Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later package. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
Will we have access to a number of good prompts so that we don't all have to reinvent the wheel? At least in the beginning, it's great to have some that are ready to use.
We will provide some prompts. There is already an example in the AI group in Sitevision on My Pages. In the group, customers also have the opportunity to share good and useful prompts with each other.
Is it possible to add synonyms to the entire site so that synonyms are always created for all news items?
The feature demonstrated during the webinar is based on an editor accessing the page and generating synonyms. We have more AI features planned for the future, so generating larger amounts of content across multiple pages is something that may be possible further down the line.
Can AI retrieve information from external sources?
Currently, we use data stored in Sitevision or data that is uploaded and selected as context. However, there are plans to open up the system to connect to external sources as well.
As an editor, can I edit the AI-generated text module, such as the summary?
Of course, the text generated by AI is fully editable.
As I understand it, this only applies to intranets. If that's correct, the next question is why? 🙂
The AI features are available for both intranets (Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later) and external websites (Sitevision CX).
When will this be in place and available for use on your website?
For customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later, it is already available today. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
Is the AI setting unique to the pages I work with, or is it a setting for the entire intranet? And can only the admin make that setting?
The settings for how AI should write, such as tone, writing rules, and style, are set centrally under Website Settings and then apply to the entire intranet and all editors.
This ensures that all content generated follows the same guidelines, regardless of who writes it or where it is published. This allows you to maintain a consistent tone, follow your language policies, and ensure quality in your communication.
Administrator privileges are required to make these settings.
I assume it is preset to use plain language, active verbs, simple language, etc.?
The AI does not have a fixed preset style; instead, you choose how the texts should be designed by entering instructions under Website Settings. There, you can describe the desired language use, for example, that the AI should use plain language, active verbs, short sentences, or follow your own writing rules and tone.
This gives you full control over how the AI writes, so that the content always follows your organisation's style and guidelines.
You write that AI already exists, but like others, I can't find it in Website Settings – do we need to update the version? Or does AI only work via the Cloud?
For customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later, it is already available today. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
Why does AI capitalise words that should not be capitalised in Swedish? It seems as though it is based on the English language model.
The AI is based on one of the most advanced language models on the market and can generate texts in many different languages, including Swedish, Norwegian, English, and several others. However, since the model is trained on large amounts of text from different sources and languages, it can in some cases be influenced by English writing rules if your instructions are not clear or consistent. However, this is something you can easily control yourself to get an optimised text. By clearly stating your writing rules or that the AI should follow Swedish language guidelines, you can ensure that the texts follow your guidelines.
How do I install AI services on our intranet? I can see the features under website settings, but there is no AI service to choose from.
For customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later, it is already available today. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
For those of us who have different language websites – does it work for that too?
The AI is based on one of the most advanced language models on the market and can generate texts in many different languages, including Swedish, Norwegian, English, and several others.
Is it possible to create multiple AI assistants? If so, is it possible to ask questions to different assistants in the AI assistant module if desired?
In a webinar after the summer, we will show you how to create multiple assistants for different goals and purposes, who can also be experts in selected areas. Keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation to the webinar!
Does an administrator have to make the prompts? Can't regular editors make prompts? It could be a prompt that doesn't need to be saved in any archive.
The prompts entered for quick generation (e.g., Ingress, Headline, Summary) are entered by an administrator and distributed via Roles, similar to other functions in Sitevision. An editor can always write their own prompts in the editor assistant. Currently, there is no archive where editors can create their own quick generation prompts, but this may be added in the future.
Can the assistant help generate a suitable news image for the content of an article?
Not at this time; we have focused on features and an AI model that understands and can generate text. However, there are plans for many more AI features in the future.
What language model is Sitevision's AI based on?
We use one of the most advanced language models on the market, although the exact model used may vary over time. As the field of AI is developing rapidly, we continuously test new models and update them as necessary in order to always offer the best possible quality. The great thing is that, as a customer, you don't need to think about which model is being used. We make sure that the AI works in the best possible way and can change models as soon as we find one that works even better, without affecting your use or requiring any adjustments on your part.
How much does it cost to have this module?
For customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later, these editorial AI features are included. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
What is Sitevision CX, which has been mentioned several times?
Sitevision CX is our package for external websites and logged-in portals, such as My Pages solutions or customer portals. It is designed to create the best possible customer and resident experience with support for modern digital tools such as AI, personalisation, and self-service.
Support for on-premises?
Yes, the AI features are also available to customers who have chosen to operate Sitevision themselves (on-prem). However, the AI service itself is operated as a Swedish cloud service, as it requires special hardware and software. This means that the AI features are connected to the central AI service, but can also be used in full from your own Sitevision installation.
Where can I find information about prices and agreements for Sitevision AI?
For customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later, these editorial AI features are included. To get started, you need to order an activation on My Pages under Self-service. If you are unsure which package you have, you can always contact your account manager. Contact details can be found on My Pages under My Profile.
Can you summarise multiple pages?
The feature demonstrated during the webinar is based on an editor accessing the page and generating summaries. We have more AI features planned for the future, so generating larger summaries across multiple pages is something that may be possible further down the line.
Will it come to those of us who don't have CX?
The AI features are only available to customers with Sitevision CX and Sitevision Intranet 2022 or later.
